hell, even Chingon's gay posts about male fleminco (flamingo?) dancers he's dated are better than hemi talk

well, it may be true that a lot of this forum or section of it is devoted to talking about the hemi, but this is our closest competition. whether we like it or not. so if someone post i killed a hemi or trash talking about them then so be it. for some of us, it is nice to know that, even tho we are under powered compared to that truck, we still beat it in a race.

well i dont see the point in worrying about a truck thats 90% of the time owned by someone who gives two floots about racing or lifting their hood.
i think we should keep our heads set on beating mustangs, and the like. To me, picking on hemi's is like an LS1 picking on a woman in a mustang.....90% theyre not there to race and if you do race its just a typical engine power ***** battle.
I mean you guys have proven over and over, that a majority of these guys arent exactly the most knowledgable when it comes to performance, which in turn just proves my point.
Sure you'll see your 12/13 second hemi every now and then, but not enough imo to consider a performance threat. Hemi owners are hyped over their hemi, so what, let them talk. I won't take any of them serious until they start playing like lightning owners/silverados ive seen in the past 5 years. Until then, theyre no different than volkswagon owners clapping for each others cars.
thats the way i see it. :/

A lot of these hemi owners actually believe they have 345HP and are far superior to the GMs 4.8,5.3 and 6.0 engines. When in truth you take a SWB 2x4 5.3 against a hemi both stock and you have a very close race. These guys are starting to see this now,and that many have helped educate the folk on the dodge forums. The dodge loyalist could care less about how many mechanical issues they are having.I went on a dodge forum and went back about 30 day and counted 16 problems/defects they are dealing with.i only counted the problem if several reported the same condition. The fuel mileage that some hemis are getting is incredibly poor.
And as far as mechanical problems, none of them are really terribly serious and are easily fixed. Besides, its a Dodge, afterall...what'd you expect, perfection?
