Some of us Hemi owners come over to check out the Chevy site cause we love Chevys. We have the ability to purchase either vehicle and this time around we chose Hemi. I will always be a tried and true GM fan but sometimes we need to change the view. When you say the Hemi is gay it makes you sound like a two year old. I have owned the 3.8SC, 4.3, 5.3, 5.7, 5.7LS1, 6.0, 8.1 and I'm pretty sure the next truck will be the Duramax. Look at how the LS1 fbody crowd embraced the 03 Cobra and switched brands. Show some maturity for the Bowtie.

What I find interesting is that Chingon is having a blast with his silly little video clip all over the web, but forgets to post the little details that came out when prompted over at Dodgetrucks.org - that the HEMI was being borrowed by a Chevy owner for the purposes of shooting the video... Can you say staged?

15.4@88? I'll line up next to you N/A with my comparatively primitive motor that came from the factory with 95hp/30tq less than the HEMI which still has stock internals and stock gears and I guarantee I'll give you a better race. Unlike the guy you raced in the video, I do know how to launch my truck at the track (1.9x 60's/.5xx RT) and have no problem staging against anybody from a Viper to a Suburban if the race is run fairly and for fun.

I personally think it's nice that the Big 3 finally turned some attention towards the products that have consistantly sold more units at higher margins year after year, and came up with some good engines. I think the full-size Chevys and Dodges are closer to each other than anybody is willing to admit, with cab configuration and driver experience bringing home the bacon more often than not. The only model I have found to be overhyped is the new SS - for $40k you'd think the thing would have some bigger *****.
