for those of you who installed the sir mikes on a stepside without molding it in...

i understand i mout the top to the part of the bed under the tailgate. i dont understand how i connect the pan up under the truck to make it stay put. it has 2 slits in both ends and 2 straight brackets that fit through the slits but i dont see how it will work. the instructions dont help me much either. can someone help me out here? pics would be best but a really good description might do it.

 

I just rivoted the bottom of the roll pan to the bedsides.

 

It should have come with some screws and you use them to screw through the bracket into the bedside. I would snap some pics, but its dark outside.
