Anyone know if you have to have a certified tech install a airbag? I got someone that has a wheel with the bag still in it and wondered if I could just use that? Its the same wheel as I had. Dont know why he took it out though.

 

not sure if you need a tech to do it, but on older cars it was simple to take one out and put a new one in. i haven't looked closely at my trucks airbag, but if it looked easy enough i wouldn't hesitate to install it myself. just pull the air bag fuse and i would un hook the battery as well
