Default Steering column Replacement...help

Hey guys, well after much work, i have to repalce the entire column. gm sells parts that are not even replaceable...

SOOOO does anyone the work invloved in swapping out a column? What is involved? i already have a new cylinder thats keyed....

with car part.com when i looked for columns it gave me all the choices, which one is right??

Column Shift, w/cruise control, ID LAP
Column Shift, w/cruise control, ID PCX
Column Shift, w/cruise control, ID PRW
Column Shift, w/cruise control, ID RDR
Column Shift, w/cruise control, ID RXP



ANY incite would help greatly

I'd start by pulling the lower dash panel and trying to find any stampings or tags on the column with those codes.... but really I have no idea and that's a shot in the dark, you did say ANY incite

Ah, and just MAYBE, those might be RPO codes, see if any of those three digit codes are on the white sticker in your glove box

Hey Brandon, PM me your VIN # and I'll contact my Partech rep from GM and I'll get you the OEM pasrt number. That way there will be no guess work. Also send me your address again and I'll send you the replacement procedure.
