Default Starter Brand Information

I'm getting readsy to replace the starter on my 02 Tahoe LT 5.3l Flex Fuel. I got a starter from Advance Auto but I want to get some reviews about this brand. If it absolutely sucks then I'll return it, but if it will do then I'll install it.

The starter is from ToughOne. It's a rebuild. Anyone ever hear about these guys??

My other option is to get one from the internet. The brand I keep coming across is Replacement and Powermasters. The price difference for all these is significant, so any info on these would be appreciated, especially ToughOne which is the one I got from Advance Auto.
Here is the site with 2 of the brands.

BTW, I tried to google ToughOne and got nothing, which is not a good sign in my book.

Thanks

Personally all of advanced auto electronics scare me, just be prepared to change it again and I hope it comes with a good warranty.

Look on rockauto.com... they have good prices and you can buy the OEM brand starter. Personally they are who I go through for about 98% of my parts.

To be honest I dont have that much experience with them except for the typical nick nacks most people get.

On the recommendation of another I actually looked up the part number for my starter on their site and it actually comes up as a Worldwide starter. So much for the box its in!!!

I've got two of my trucks with new $55 eBay starters. No problems yet, one has been on well over two years.

Well, I took it back. RockAuto had a new ACDelco for just under the price I paid at Advance Auto for a rem. off brand.
Again thank you!!
