The quad cab srt10 put out around 375-385 thru a automatic tranny. The Manual tranny in the reg cab has a less drivetrain loss and they put out more rwhp. He said the truck he is going to run is a reg cab so i post info i have read about a reg cab

You will most likely beat him. but be carefull if you go from a roll these trucks can run good if you can keep the throddle pinned to the floor throw the shifts. my buddy has one and with the rep these trucks have everyone wants to race it, his had intake and a cat back and i raced a lightning with it once with bolt ons, 14 psi, and nitto dr on it and from a dig i stayed with it till 60 them pulled him 1.5 cars to 120.

I yank them all day off bottle, but then again my truck has a little more done to it than yours...I think you should have him off bottle, but to rub salt in the wound, spray his ***!

Your trailblazer converter is what worrys me, if your planning on racing from a dig are you going to be on street tires? its all going to be in first gear after that i think its going to be close.

Why in the hell would you have nitrous and actually debate using it? If you have to ask everyone in reassurance if you will beat the guy, you need the spray. That's like the saying, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." Everyone ends up saying, "I have a nitrous kit just in case. Should I put it on?" Hell yeah, put it on. Don't ever half-*** it and just barely beat the guy. Stomp his *** from the beginning, and rub it in his face that his bought truck is slow.
Yes, I realize this is an old *** thread. /rant.
