Sport mirrors?

Street Scene mirrors. Afterthoughts Auto, was going to give us a deal non them, but I don't know if anyone got them or not. Here is a thread that we had going about them. I will get some in a few weeks, but check with Afterthoughts Auto and see if they will still do that price or better.

i have the cal-vu M3 style mirrors on my truck and they look bad ***, i wish i had put them on my old one. they aren't small, they are just a little smaller than the stock ones, but they are more streamlined, look a damn bit better, and are paintable out of the box.

i too painted my stock mirrors. i paint the whole mirror (the chrome and the black plastic) for a sort of sport mirror look. they're not street scene mirrors but they look pretty good and were a hell of a lot cheaper. i like my big huge mirrors that i can see everything out of anyway.

I have a question related to mirrors. Can I buy from GM just the glass from the mirror? I would like to upgrade my power mirrors to power heated turn signal mirrors without going to the ugly new 03 mirror housing. The power is already in my housing, and the heating element and turn signals are part of the glass. I can do the wiring myself. I hope the answer is yes, if so I will be ordering the new glass first thing next week.

you can, but it'll cost ya well over a hundred bucks per glass. it is 89 for just the glass for one mirror for a non power mirror. that's what jerry's chev. and moritz of fort worth both told me on my old truck when the mirror got knocked off.
