Question Speaker help!

So i realized my stock speakers blow. I'm on crutchfield right now and i found good deals on 4x6 kappa plates and 6 3/4 speakers for the front doors. My question is will they sound better than stock w/ the stock HU? and should i go 3way or 2 way kappa? thanks!

id go 2 way kappas... it will sound a little better w/ the stock hu.. however.. if you get an aftermarket hu AND a amp for your speakers.. it'll be a world of difference.

I really wouldnt bother replacing the speakers until you replace the deck. It'll still cut the bass out when you turn it up. A new deck will do more for you soundwise than replacing the speakers.

I went with alpine separates in the front, and polk 4x6s in my back doors, with an alpine amp pushing them... they sound very good.

Boss amps are good... for both subs and speakers..

And yes.. sorry i didnt say that earlier.. your speakers will bottom out ("fart") when there isnt a good hu pushing them. Look for an alpine hu.. w/ 3 or more pre-outs.. pre-outs can be called other things as well.

Defenetly.I have the kappa plates and 6 3/4 kappas in the doors.Couldn't wait to hear it when i finialy did i was dissapointed. The highs are the only things that is better. When you turn it up pooooop.Stoker **** sounded better. So if you do them get a new hu,Or get a set of speakers without that kind of power handling.
