Default Spark plugs

been lurking on the site for a couple weeks now, I've got two trucks in my Family, one 01 esd cab 2wd, and an 02 one reg cab short bed 4wd. Both with the 4.8l

The time has come to do the plugs again on the 01(just did the 02 a couple months ago). The truck has 220,000 miles on it, and has only had the AC delco Iridium plugs in it. Money is tight this time around, so I was considering going with a set of the NGKs(TR55 is the number I found when I was searching) but I'm not sure about using less plug in it. Any side effects? I saw that some one had said to use them only if you like working on your truck, and honestly, I don't mind, but I don't have the time to be changing the plugs every time I change the oil.

Basically, should I get the non-iridium NGK plugs and save some cash, or just go ahead and swallow the extra amount of the iridiums?

NGK TR55s will do just fine.. I've ran them for 50K miles with no problems.. now I have TR6s for the turbo and nitrous..

Didn't notice if there's asite sponsor who sells AmsOil, but AmsOil now carries NGK plugs.
So if there is a site sponsor, I'd contact them unless you know someone locally that is an AmsOil dealer.

BTW- Welcome!

Cool, thanks! I'll give the TR55s a try. I'm sure anything would be better than whats in there now though, except for Bosch plugs.
