Default Something is missing from my intake.

Picked up my motor from the junk yard yesterday and somethhing is missing from the top of the intake. anybody tell me is missing. circled in red

that is where the engine cover would screw into, they can break off easy... it happened on my 6.0 to... just pop the same thing off your old engine and use some rubber sealant or something and put it back on...

Thats the thing. I dont have another engine. This is going into my s10. Can I just put a rubber grommet/plug in it?

Well if your not going to run the engine cover, you may want to use an epoxy.

i think you will be fine if you make like a rubber plug with sealant around it or
anything you can make fit that is air tight will work... no sensor or anything went their
