I did file a Base Report so we will see what happens.

Anyway, I need to get out in the garage and take the door apart and assess the damage.

I'll need some GM part #'s if anyone can help, I may need some rubber seals(not sure yet) but I for sure will need a drivers side xtra-cab window if anyone has that part number handy. thanks

oh yeah,.............****!

hey grippy that is exactly what happen to a xcab i had ..this dude was weed wacking around the rain gutter outside a place where my wife was working at the time and a little gravel flew up and shattered the pass side xcab window...it was $500 back in '95 and the truck was only 2 months old...i think that was why it was so xpensive....

Hey Grippy, I used to see this all the time when I worked security at NAS Pensacola. I'm not sure but how it works in SD but it should be the same... After filling out the police (I'm using that term loosely here) report, a copy went to the landscaping company and another went to base HD. Usually, the company paid for it. It was in their contract that they were liable for any damages. Hope it works out the same way for you.

I just ordered the window today. I'll install it and submit the reciept to legal, hopefully they will pick up the tab, although I don't know what the SOP is for this base.
