My under hood light is like a woman. Depending on how it feels wether or not its on. If you tap it the right way you can turn it on, but if you don't you have to beat the hell out of it to get some............light that is

Mine has a lead weight that slides into place and completes the cicuit. It's supposed to come on when the hood is lifted all the way up and the weight slides into place. I usually just thump mine once or twice and it comes on. Or disconnect it and shake the **** out of it then stomp on it and hit it with a hammer. If this doesn't work, try cleaning it. May be best not to do them in that order.

This sounds like a really gay set up. I just got back from my three day trip. I'll try the suggestions.
