I still have to do alot of research, which is why I am here posting with you guys...this is the best place to learn, and there have been many helpful guys so far. I will take all the info I can get.
as for building a 6.0 it can go several ways on how you want to go at it. topend? lowend? boosted? juiced? and etc.

i hate the my truck is faster than your truck threads. cause truth is, i can build anything to go faster than what you have and you can build anything to go faster than what i have. post up times. call it a race on the net and be done with it. if you ran a 14 and i ran a 11, guess what, i'm faster.
bunch of tools. add sand bags, give me lengths.

And I know you gave'em to your bro- you think he'd trade me? LOL

I have been doing some more research today, and I'm thinking a built 408 with a turbo sounds nice...what do you think...haha
I saw on trtturbo.com that they have a stage 5 kit that is exactly what I just said, fully built 6.0 stroked to a 408 with a turbo...WOW!!! But they want $13,000 for the entire setup. I think I can do much better than that on my own.

To me it looked like he read you last post and puffed up after a couple cocktails( could have read it wrong)(he is a respected pro here)
An old poster here built a 408,he hand ported early Ls6 heads and mild cam and ran 12s in a denali 4x4 xcab, then went 11s with a 300 shot.He later went durmax.
You are totaly on the right track, what you want to do has been done and you can minimimize costly mistakes if you keep up the research, why re-invent the wheel?Well to some degree.

Then you'll have all the Chevy's you want to take a shot at. Not to mention the HALO group of Ford Lightnings.
We never see Dodges around the track much when we are there.
Hopefully that will change.
