Question So... are they gonna build the RC SS?

I know this has been beat to death in previous discussions, and I came to the conclusion that GM was NOT going to produce them like the bunch of teasers they are. But then I open my HOT ROD magazine "Best of 2003" edition, and there it says that they probably will build it. Granted I know the info in the mag is old, but does anyone know if GM will actually go through with this thing?

That is the ONLY truck that I would trade mine for, assuming it comes with the N/A 6.0, 6 spd manual tranny, and available as a stripped down version. Price it under $30,000 and that bitch is mine! So are they or aren't they?

If they do built, I doubt it will be priced under 30K.

if they did build something like it, it would turn out to be like the current SS, overhyped, and overpriced, and underpowered. i would love to be wrong about that, but i just feel that, that would be what GM would come to us with. hell, even a reg cab truck with a 6spd and a 6.0(stock cam) would be sweet, cuz it would make it so much easier to make it quicker due to the nicer tranny and bigger cubes.

It would be cool if they had the LQ9 (345hp) 6.0 w/ a 4L65E transmission in a single cab.

Dodge puts their big motors in the Dakota. They just don't run worth a darn.

Imagine a LQ9 / 4L65e powered single cab Colorado.
