heres the detail on the trackday:

Where is the meeting place?
At the Track. California Speedway, 9300 Cherry Avenue, Fontana. The quarter-mile California Dragway is located in Parking Lot 1 behind the speedway's main grandstand.

How will the Track let me in?
Let the person at the gate know whether you are a participant or a spectator. He/she will let you know where to line up for Tech Inspection, or park your vehicle.

Are spectators allowed?
Spectator is free with a paid registrant. Since this is a “private” track rental, it is not open to the public. It is limited to friends, families, and crew members of the participants. Everyone must be at least 18 years of age.

What if we don’t make the minimum limit of cars, or if it rains?
The event will be cancelled or moved to a later date. If the event is cancelled, you will receive a refund. If the event is moved to a later date, you will receive an email notification, and the new date will be at least a month in advance.

Are multiple drivers allowed?
Yes, but it is limited to 2 drivers maximum. All drivers must acquire a wrist band, and sign a waiver at the track.
What if I can’t make it, can someone else fill my spot?
Yes, you can have someone else fill your spot. You will need to submit an email to sales@alternativemotoring.com with the full name and vehicle year/make/model of the person filling your spot. Or your substitute must have a signed note from you, and he/she must present that note to the event organizer.

What are the requirements to run at the track?
You must bring a valid driver’s license and vehicle proof of insurance. You must also comply with the Track and NHRA rules (see sign up page for SAFETY REQUIREMENTS). You can also contact NHRA Tech line at 626-914-4761.

Is nitrous or race gas available?
Race fuel and nitrous oxide may be available from Bottlefed Racing (www.bottlefedracing.com). Look for the Dynoworks trailer at the track.

if i can get all my new stuff done by then I would go- as a spectator.

Id rather watch paint dry than "race" a 15 sec truck.

Watching would be fun.

I'd be down to go, but I'll be in Hawaii.

The private day sounds nice but I dont know if I want to drop $100 for the drag strip.
I think I'm going to go on the 26th, still unsure though. I like the sound of those private days, but like you said, I don't know if I want to waste $100.

Well, to me, going to the track and spending 8 hours there to run once or twice is a waste, even if it's free. The ability to run 10-12 (or more) times to get your technique down or do some tuning sounds like a great deal for $100.
