Smoked an 05 GT on the freeway
So I finally get my truck tuned the other day, and this thing is finally running well for once. I finally get a good chance to see what this things really made of...
Well I am cruising home on the 101 late tonight(not many cars on a long stretch), at about 75 in the slow lane of two lanes. I look in my rear view and I see two big round headlights comming up fast, and i mean fast. Probably close to 100... so when they get closer to notice its a new mustang, I hit it and as he start to get close, he passes by me at about 100 accelerating, and he stayed about a car in front of me for about a few mph more and then my boosted power just took him over and I flew past him.
I finally let off when I had a good 4-5 cars on him just to let him hear the Wastegate blow off... He then pulled up next to me for a second and then floored it and started to take it to the limit. Got up to well over 125-130 and I kept on his *** for about 1/4 mile not even with the pedal on the floor and we both slowed up for cars comming up..
After we slowly passed, we slowed to a 60 mph roll run run again... I let him start to take off a little before me and then we both gunned it... I pulled on him hard as soon as i hit boost, and it was all over in seconds when I had a good 3-4 cars on him.
I felt rather suprised that a truck could keep up with a car on the freeway at such high speeds. I know i have alot of Hp on him, but the power to weight is compensation too... I guess you can say it was my first good kill.

Bet that guy was pretty pissed that his brand new Mustang GT was killed by a truck

yeah. It was all in fun. He was even down for more races after, even though he knew my truck was faster than his pony...
It's just so much better getting a kill out of a truck and then when they give you the WTF look and then end up liking the truck after they loose rather than just being pissed that they got their brand new ride taken by a truck.

Nice kill, I bet he was pissed. The only sports car I have been next to in a LONG time was a C6 yesterday but I just gave him the thumbs up and turned off, I didn't want anything to do with that one. I would have been murdered!
