Default Small electrical problems

1. When adjusting my power mirrors the button will only adjust them up and to the left, but they will not adjust to the right or down, thats on both passenger and drivers side, where should I look for the break in a wire?

2. Passenger side power door lock botton doesnt work, once again where should I look for a broken wire?

3. the first 3 settings on my climate control fan doesnt work on the switch? any ideas?

just little things that bother the crap out of me, if anyone can help that would be awsome! thanks guys

Most common and obvious place for a broken wire is in the door jamb on either side, although the driver's door opens and closes the most, therefore has the most broken wires.

But, for #1, I had a similar problem, removed and cleaned the contacts in the mirror switch and it is now working.

For #2, do you have keyless entry? If so, see if the door locks with the key fob. The problem may be the switch or door lock actuator.

#3 sounds like the blower resistor is open...it's located by the blower motor.

So Ill check the contacts tomorrow and clean them up good, and if nothing Il check the wires in the jamb saturday, and for #2 I do have keyless entry, and the passenger door does lock and unlock using it, or the drivers side button. #3 how can I tell if the resistor is open? and where exactly by the blower motor is it located?

For #2, since it works with the keyless entry, that pretty much rules out the actuator, so the problem is either the switch or a wire like you mentioned.

For #3, you'll need a schematic and a multimeter to probe the various pins of the blower motor resistor, but from the way you describe it, it definitely sounds like the resistor has popped. When the fan is set to high, it bypasses the resistor and goes full 12v, the other settings go through 3 different size coils in the resistor to provide less voltage to the motor and give you the various fan speeds. The resistor should be located on the passenger's side of the dash, it will be a connector with I believe 4 wires going to it, and possibly a screw or 2 that retains it. You should be able to access it by removing the glove box...hopefully somebody who has replaced theirs will chime in to confirm this. It's a pretty common failure among many different manufacturers.
