I went to the local parts counter at a dealer and asked tham for the clips that hold the tranny lines in my 60e.

He looks it up and says, " $13.85 how many do you need " i couldnt belive this. How can they charhe this and can you get them any place else?

 

Being that much, id go with push lock fittings.. thats insane for a small peice of metal.

 

i have seen them at Oreilly autoparts....

 

they have them at the auto parts stores.
they are at the lil help bins/racks....

That's insane.
It would really help business out if they would stop charging so damn much for parts. A whole lot of people go else where because those prices are WAY more than other places charge.
When will they learn.

 

You don't need to buy those clips from Government Motors, go to NAPA/Carquest.

 

I paid $50 for an OEM HD bowtie

 

Shelled out $23 yesterday for a transmission seal at the dealer. Online they were $8.

 

I paid over $40 for a bowtie for my '06 and I work behind the GM parts counter. Some parts are completely insane and others are right inline with others if not cheaper. Not much, but some.
