Hey, CHEVY6000VHO, wait a minute-

I just realized that you replied to my reply quoting ZRO26T. I should be arguing with him, not you. I think you might be feeling guilty about your headlight aim.

All I have to say is this.....

And NO those are not silverstars, they are the cheap $15 a PAIR bulbs. See post #37.

For $34.90 you get a Pair of bulbs for the low beams and a Pair for the high beams too. Half the price of the Silverstars, look better too. They just don't last as long. If you want them to look good then go with these, if you want them to look a little better than stock then go with the silverstars. But with these the HID lights liik exactally the same next to these, the silverstars don't.
I Love them and I am just trying to spread the word.

I can through a silverstar in there for comparision if you want to see side by side in the same pic?

I'll pay the price for the Silverstars. More worried about them lasting and how well I can see with them than I am of how it looks to other people. Not an appearance mod I care for, but to each their own.

I do agree that the silverstars are a good longlasting upgrade over the stock bulbs. But IF you are looking for a good looking cost effective lightbulb then these are it. I think these compare to HID a lot better than the silverstars. I have not and will not say that silverstars are bad, cause they are not. I just like the whiter bulb.

Default Longevity Issue

I installed silverstar low beam lamps on my stratus 2 yrs ago and liked the improvement so much that I installed lowbeam lamps in my LeSabre. Approx.
18 mos. later, a silverstar burned out in my stratus. I replaced this lamp and a week later the other one burned out on the same car. One month later,
a silverstar burned out in my LeSabre and a week later(you may guess this one) the other one burned out.
I have read about other people having the same short life issues with their silverstars.
When you DO burn out a lamp, "BUY A 2 PACK" as they are cheaper than buying one at a time (ask me how I know) and you'll be ready when the other one goes.
Should they go out again, I will try something else or go back to my stock lamps that I saved.

I got the lights from rockauto.com, and the HIDs from xenondepot.com.
