Default Silverstars

Ok im gonna say screw the generic crap bulbs and buy better ones. I was looking at the Silverstars or the nighthawks by GE. I just wanted some feedback from people who have had these before. Also if i get these bulbs are they really going to be brighter than the stock ones? thanks.

I got Silverstars in my low beams and they are brighter than stock. They don't really have that hyperwhite look from outside the truck but when driving they definitely look white and illuminate everything a lot better. I like them but I've also wanted to see what the GE's look like but have yet to see a set.

I have the Nighthawks and have had the Silverstars before. To be honest I am more satisfied with the Silverstars than the Nighthawks even though the Nighthawks are supposed to be better.

Silverstars in both my headlights and fogs. Best money I've ever spent. I don't even use the highbeams anymore, that's how good the lows/fogs light the road now.

I have the high 4 headlight mod done with Nighthawks in the lows and Silverstars in the highs and my highbeams now look like the low beam HIDs on my mom's Mercury Montigo, maybe slightly brighter.

the silverstars look pure white as opposed to the yellow looking stockers.... very good visibility. well worth the money. much recommended. or you could spend @ 300 bucks and get a nice HID conversion....

Best budget bulb IMO. I've had pretty much all of em through the years.

Nothing is going to beat HIDs though

I got Silverstars in my low beam and regular ty bulbs in the high beam, I never use high beam anymore, too orange and dim. I will never go back to a regular bulb, in fact I need to buy new high beam bulbs.

Have Silverstars in my Silvy, Yukon, and Accord! Best bang for the buck. In my Silvy & Yukon, the lows are brighter & make oncoming drivers think I have hi-beams on... until I flash the hi-beams (w/ Silverstars in them). I'm sure that made 'em think twice.

Had a buddy I was following him on the way to his house (he was intoxicated) after a bunch of us went to a party. He claimed the lights were so bright, had to turn down his rear view mirror.

I'd definitely recommend Silverstars, hands down!
