Question Should i sell my radix?

i bought it for my last truck. i now have an 03 scsb with a 4.8. i'm looking to get mid 13's out of the truck. i'm thinking of buying an ls1, installing the cam and stall i have along with a locker and 3.73's. will this get me 13's? will this be more reliable and easier on the tranny? i don't mind the work of an engine swap. will the stock injectors support it?

sell it to me but really, i would think you could do a 6.0l and keep the radix and install it on the 6.0l if i am not mistaken

On the trans thing I blew mine with just intake exhaust and tune

Radix and 6L would be more civilized for a DD app IMO. Plus the instant torque will help out the wimpy 4.8. If you dont mind me asking why did you get rid of the Denali?

Having a regular cab that ways less is also easier than a crew cab, probably like a 1000 pound difference.

I would install the radix on the 4.8 for now. That would give it more torque and horsepower than a mild bolt on 6.0. I would think just the radix with stock pulley would be good for 13's. My 5.3 ECSB weighing in at 5250 with me in went 14.09 with just the radix. I dont see why you couldnt get in the 13's with slicks.

6.0 and a radix, I'll have to try that out.
Since you have the radix I would put it to use. If you want to do the work of a swap, cam etc...go for it and sell the radix to fund it. A RC truck with a Radix/6L would be fun for a DD.

Either will get you 13's - Vicred has a cammed ls1 in his RCSB and runs mid 13s on street tires I believe.
