Theres somebody close by thats got a baer big brake kit for sale. All 4 rotors and calipers, says it fits yukon or gmc. should it work on my 02 silvy. They only want $300 for it.

 

Chances are the rotors are shot. They can not be turned and only last so long. Might also be a scam. Plus is that just rotors or rotors pads calipers brackets?

It is probably worth it but will cost some money along the way. Rotors are over 125 each from ssbc and then the pads have to be sanded down to fit.

 

Looks shady and trashed. I wouldn't do it. You get what you pay for.

 

I think the calipers and brackets are worth that. A different but equal if not better brake upgrade is to go hydroboost.

 

Does Baer make the calipers? They look like painted 2007+ GM SUV/pickup calipers. I picked up the front pair of calipers from an 08 Silvy for $80 from an auto yard in Houston. Regardless, I would pass, they are likely stolen or in terrible shape.

On second thought, they don't look identical, just similar.

 

I don't think bear makes them. It might be PBR that makes them. They are very similar to c5 vette calipers.
