I'd go for the RCSB just 'cuz of the shock value of it. Everybody expects a ZO6 to be fast but not many would expect a 12 sec. truck. Besides, you can haul a lot more in a truck than a Z06 (cargo not ***).

a truck will always be a truck, even if you drop say 30 grand in it, it will still be slow and handle like a greased pig...depends entirley on what you want...a Corvette is by far the best bang for your buck in sports cars...handling and power....if you want to haul stuff and have a sleeper get the truck, but I would definitly see the vette as more fun....think 1g cornering speeds man!

I say stay with the truck idea. Its more fun to me, but you do have to throw more cash at them to make them as fast as most of these sports cars.

Go drive a '02-up Z06 and you will answer your own question. It seems to me like the '02 Z06's are running the best numbers (who knows why???) and can be had a bit cheaper than the '03's. It's no comparison between a RCSB and a Z06...let's be real. You really can't imagine until you drive the vette'.

My parents have several cars. a C6 hardtop and a C5 convert that are in the garage unless we take them. I had a C5 before the tahoe. The coolness factor is played out for me. I want something cool that will look clean. I think Im going to see how far I can go with the truck with this setup and then get a Z06 once my new house is built. I'll probably go with a built 408, nitrous, headers and cam.
