Put some stockers back on it! If you lived here, I would loan you mine to take it up there.

That's Glasscock for ya John. You could always put the 22's on my truck and use my rims to take it to the shop...

Dont take that **** from them. YOU spent alot of money on they truck ( i assume) and you have a warrenty with it... dont let some service guy screw you.

Almost the same situation happened to me, but I didnt stand for that ****. One day my tranny started slipping like crazy. I took it into the dealer (warrenty) and came back a few hours later to hear this service guy try to tell me that because I race they will not cover my tranny. They said since they could see the tires were worn (more like almost bald) they knew I was racing and abusing the truck.

Now, thats all true, I race and abuse the truck, BUT how would they know? From bald tires? Hell no. So i proceded to explain to the service guy how I never race and the tires are just bald from me being too broke to buy new ones. He continued to press me saying they would not pay for it and I was outa luck. So thats when my mood flipped and the yelling began. I demanded to talk to the service manager and had a nice chat with him He started out saying the same thing, they wont cover it. But after a few threats from my lawyer and him obviously realizing I wasnt going to roll over he said he would see what he could do....

Moral of the story? I came back 2 days later and had a NEW tranny in my truck.

Dont think because some moron at a desk tells you he wont cover it that you should just roll over. I spent too much on my truck for some jerkoff to try to rip me off for more money.

(sorry for the novel)

BTW - Im very glad I got the extended warrenty. I got 3 trannies and 1 rear end out of it. Not to mention various odd and ends. I think I paid about 2000 for the extended warrenty and collected about 8000 in parts and labor

i agree. i got a good deal on the truck and paid for the extended warrenty because i knew how i was going to drive it. their is a supreme court case having to deal with warranty that works in our favor greatly. so they can suck on thier torque renchs

Tell Them You Want To Talk To The Warrenty Clerk. Get Him Or Her To Tell You What They Cover And What They Dont. We Get Stuff Come In All The Time Like That And The Techs Dont Have A Problem With It. I Think They Are Just Trying To YOU.
