done!

If it will help I'll come down and do the drinking while you work. I'd hate for you to strain yourself.

Seriously, anything you need just give me a shout.

I feel your pain. I had the crank pulley come off a couple of weeks ago. A metal shaving got in the oil pump and shut it down. Worked on swapping the pump until 1:00 a.m. When we got it back together it started tapping really bad. Turned out a piece of metal got in a lifter and seized up the roller. The lifter ate up the cam lobe. Took 5 days to get the parts and get it back on the road. All this happened within 20 minutes of a synthetic oil change.

When it rains it pours! Damn dude. You are making me feel better with that one!
I just can't stand doing work on a car unless I am making it faster. That is why I will have a hard time putting it back in without a 4.00 crank

Damn MJ, tough luck. I agree with you about liking to work on the truck and making it faster, to an extent. I do like to drive it a bit in between. Hopefully should something else break I have the same attitude you do. My wife, my wallet, and patience would be tested should it.

When I told the wife on the phone today she said, " Damn we are never going to get out of debt!". LOL! She married into it just like I did her dogs. I was blowing money on cars waaaaay before she ever came along and I let her know things weren't ever going to change.

Im guessing she had the same facial expression as when we were sitting in the dining room and you told her you were building a new motor since the 4.8 was dead

Looks like you are having the same luck as me. I think your shop is cursed. Carrier your truck is next
