I'm going to go against the grain and say keep the light. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." You say it looks good, and it is already non-stock looking. I would leave it alone.

There is something about functionality that I appreciate in pickups, too...even show pickups. If the bed is all hacked up for bags, the tailgate welded up, everything imaginable shaved...it loses its "feel" as a truck to me. Glad you are keeping the door handles! Trust me, your truck would already OWN most of the ricer-kid pickups we see at shows in West TN.
