TurboGibbs, your truck is sweet. Can you post up some bigger pics and more of the interior, how hard was it to have that shifter setup in the console box? That's an SS console box?
15k is prob alone what you put into the truck with the drivetrain alone. I'm still in the market to get a Joe Gibbs, never could get my self to get a 03-04 lightning. The Gibbs setup in black just looks sick and way better than the ext cab ss.

I updated the pics. The console is an extended cab/Tahoe console. It is a custom shifter handle and speaker box cut out of the console to clear. I haven't made any effort to sell it really. I've been busy and haven't decided for sure what I want to replace it with yet. Having something with 4 doors, 6 speed, 400+ hp for $15k-ish is hard to come buy. Besides, I don't know if I want to live without a truck either. I'll sell it though.

Just a few more questions:

1. Where did you get the 6.0L block, year, how many miles on the clock as of now? Is the block iron or aluminum?

2. Where did the T56 come from, how many miles and the LS7 clutch, did you upgrade the hydralic/slave cylinder/fluid lines?

3. A world of difference from the NV3500?

4. How many miles are on the chassis total?

5. Gas mileage city/highway?

6. What's she prob run in the quarter?

Always a fan of all motor compared to turbo's/chargers..less things break
"There's no replacement for displacement." lol

I thought the Joe Gibbs had a special front bumper and a painted grille? I agree with everyone, just get a cheap 5.3/5 speed from the junk yard swap it in and sell it. Keep the good stuff for yourself.

1. If I remember correctly, it's a 2001 block (iron) I got from a dealer that was a warranty job for excessive oil consumption and GM never sent for pickup.
2. Trans came from T56 rebuilds, aka 6 speeds inc before they went under. It has steel 3-4 fork, bronze shift pads and Pro 5.0 shifter.
It has an 02 SS slave cyl and stock truck braided line and master cyl. Trans and clutch have ~ 50k on them as well as the engine.
3. The 5 speeds have shifting problems into 3rd. This drives like a F-body...that's a little fat!
4. 73k on the chassis and counting daily.
5. Gas mileage on my city/highway commute is 15.5 mpg.
6. I have no idea what it runs. If you compared it in RWHP #'s it'd be in the high 12's, but being a heavy manual car, it is harder to launch so probably low 13's.

Also, It will have a new 02 slave in it when I sell it. It has been weak for a couple years but haven't changed it since I haven't decided if i'll be pulling the engine yet or not and waiting to do it then. It won't shift above 5k right now so I have just been driving it like a pawpaw for a couple years.

They came with all levels of trim depending on dealership order.

What is your price if you sell it as it stands?

And can you post some under the hood pics of the 6.0L beast, and maybe some chassis pics/under body..

Just curious, you said you got the iron 6.0L block from the dealer, are the 6.0L's know for excessive oil consumption? How can that be fixed?

My old neighbor had an 02, 2500 crew with the 8.1L, it was all stock and ate oil about half a quart of oil monthly.

Sorry, I missed this post. No, 6.0's aren't known for oil consumption.

More pics here.
