The dealer only had one and it just came in. It was a white ExCab 2500HD. It had the new front end, just like the 1500's will have. It looked almost the same as the Avalanche, but I think the Avalanche has the headlights under the parking lights, but this one had the headlights on top. The only other exterior change I noticed was the tails. They ditched the yellow turn signal, and now the are all red with kind of a euro look, but not too extreme. They looked like they would bolt right into the 99-02 trucks. I didn't get a good look at the inside, but the new steering wheel looked pretty sweet. The bed and doors were still the exact same as before.

 

I saw one too. It was at Lone Star Chevrolet in the back behind the fence. One word. UGLY!

I guess my next truck will be either a GMC or a Dodge.

the GMCs don't look much better. and the dodges are slugs. i won't be buying another truck anytime soon but if the body style doesn't change by the time i do i'll just buy a new chevy and bolt on the old front end...or maybe do a caddy conversion

 

Crazyidiot, good idea. It looks like the same front sheetmetal now as the Escalade, just without the chrome piece on the front of the hood, so the swap would be pretty damn easy. And guys I have not seen an 03 GMC in person yet, but I heard the GMC emblem is offcenter toward the top of the grill, what up with that!!? Oh well pretty much everyone here puts a grill insert in anyway.

I saw some at lone star chevy as well,They were all H.D.'s they were in the fleet truck section.
The new look is starting to grow on me.

well, look on the bright side, ...maybe they'll give them a lil more power in the years to come and you can drive so fast that no one will be able to see how ugly they are. Thats cool. Ya I know where valley mills is....my brother just graduated from there so I go up there all the time... I got the same advice from my brother...the beverly hills cops are dicks that screw people on the hills. O ya, there are tons of girls up there....its awesome.
