Nice, I might have to try to find a used kit to do the same. There is a guy here that got a t-76 for like $600 for his Firebird. He says all he needs to hook it up are the blow off valve and wastegate. So just curious, about how much did total project cost?

Congrats Mort!!! Your seeing about the same boost levels I am, and running about the same g-tech times too, and mine is just a 4.8. Are you at eleveation like me? (4800 ft) I did put an OBX intercooler on mine. I think we have .5 bar spings in the wastegate and you need .4 bar spring to get down to 5 lbs of boost. Sill feels GREAT though I'm sure!!

I am very happy with how mine has turned out. I still have some tuning work to do and need an IC or Meth and a boost controller to complete the basic package if I want to run more than 5 psi.

Cost:
1.) Used kit on EBAY $2300 plus shipping so say $2400.
2.) Injectors $360. and fuel pump $130 and harness $50
and shipping $10 = $550
3.) Tune = $495
4.) Logging software = $230
5.) Dynotune Guages = $330
6.) Misc supplies = $50
Total = $4055USD = $5200 Canadian

The same in an all new Radix or STS would have cost me $5800USD = $7400 Canadian

So a nice saving for a 5 month old kit and everything else new and I am happy.

Thanks kbracing96 and nice to hear you are liking your STS as well. Thanks also for the heads up on the springs for the wastegate. I guess maybe I better take it easy on it till I get a new spring or an IC or something. I am just slightly above sea level so that is not a concern for me nor should it affect my times. But my truck is probably 6 or 7 hundred pounds more than yours and I have the 4l80E and the G80 9.5 differential both of which will consume some HP through drivetrain losses. And it does feel good for sure.

Thanks SCIV. I know it was close and now you know how it turned out. The guy on EBAY was great to deal with which was a nice bonus. The more the merrier so get her done and come on in.
