Thumbs down Rode in a new F 150

My uncle just got his new work truck. Its a F150 3 valve triton Although it is a 4wd reg cab the truck is extremely slow. Saturday morning here in central Illnois it was steadinly raining all morning. He picked us up to go to breakfast. At 30 he puched it, the motor downshifted, it didn't even spin, slide or anything. Plus he said it is a major gas hog! Ford really went in the wrong direction!

lightnings are pretty quick.....

wouldnt really expect a stock 4x4 to spin anyways....thats probably why the engineers test them in the rain as well....so they dont get out of control....

My Father-in-law just got one. I can't speak for the performance, but I will say they have the nicest interiors (fully loaded Lariats) out there right now. Only on the 150's though.

GM is in the wrong direction, all the "SS" hype is crap.

I'd rather have a SVT Silverado if it was possible.

Ford really did the right thing when they circled the problem.

Yeah my brother has an 04 Ford black reg cab with the small V8. It has no power either. The Lariats' interiors IMO look like an old man's truck to me. I do like the FX4's all black interior though.
