Alright, I've been running Harland Sharp 1.7 rockers for about 30K now. When I first installed them, the exhaust rocker on #7 was hitting the PCV shroud in the valve cover. Popped it off, did a little grinding, fixed. I have had to do that three times since then, each time, I need a little more clearance. Can I remove that shroud, put a breather on the valve cover and cap the line going to the intake? I'm getting tired of that ticking and having to fix it on a tuesday night.

the heads are 317s.
TxAvalanche - do you have a breather somewhere else in the system for crankcase ventilation? thanks for the pic man, hopefully its that simple. damn rocker ticking is annoying as hell.

Here is where the breather in the valley cover, there is a write up somewhere about swapping to the LS6 valley cover and PCV system wuth part numbers. The truck coolant cross over can be used after you bend it a little for clearance, My crate engine came with the LS6 valley cover but think its around $68 online.

I just ran a hose from the top of the intake manifold around down to the valley cover
