Default rims???

i have a 2000 black single cab swb 4.8, 2" shackles on back. what are the best rims to put on it?? i want something light (aluminum) so it wont weigh it down. and something cheap. i was thinking a set of the aluminum silverado ss rims but are kinda pricey

Stock aluminum 20's in any form are heavy, I would look for some used centerlines, probably your best bet.

SS wheels are heavy.Go with something like a centerline.

I was posting while you were posting and we basically said the same thing.

I have a single cab truck with 2" shackles and 20" SS wheels. I love the look but they weigh alot, just like other people said. If you want something lightweight and relatively cheap, get some 17"/18" Centerlines.

Bogarts (oh wait, you said cheap)........Centerlines.

Bear in mind though to fill in the fender gap you'll have to consider tires for it too so factor that weight in as well.

Check out the factory VHO/V-max wheels from the NBS trucks.

IIRC, they are made by Centerline, and are one of the lightest 20s out there.

Are you sure? I never heard that before. I know the VHO wheels look very similar to the Centerline Voltage though. I don't think GM would have installed a lightweight, forged 20" wheel from the factory but I could be wrong.

Voltage is a copy of the vho rims, there are slight differences in the pattern
