In process of getting a tune on the Silvy, but wanted to know what are the various systems out there?

Just get a Airraid tube and a good filter.. thats the easiest way and cheaper..

I like the volant just because it is a sealed unit and keeps the engine heat out as opposed to the open element cai's.

If budget is tight, you can make your own CAI at home (search for "home made CAI", on the more expensive end, I like my Volant with Ram Air tube. I had a K&N FIPK prior to this, and it performed the same as the Volant does.

I put a airaid unit on my dads 2500hd. got it off the ebay for about 50 bucks shipped. Did not notice any difference even when programmed with my diablo predator. I wont have been pissed if I had paid the 300 bucks for it tho. truck still get 13mpg
