Default Return line?

About to install my trans cooler this week end. Going to install it in series. Which line is the return line out of the radiator, top or bottom?

i would not do it that way.doing it that way u just should not waste u'r money the rad will heat it up as fast as the cooler will cool it off by pass rad. all together and u will take a lot off u'r shoulder.no more worriers about the cooling system for the trans.

That is why it is installed on the RETURN line therefor downstream of the stock radiator cooler. The factory radiator cooler will provide extra cooling if it is before the aftermarket add-on cooler. I saw a 30* drop in my tranny temps by adding the B&M cooler inline after the radiator cooler.
