played around with him from a light. we both spun pretty bad and i got ahead of him and stayed there. next we went from a 40 roll and he pulled on me a little. then we played a tiny bit more but nothing serious. hell even if i got beat a little i think i am doing ok with the swap and all. especially to be able at least give him an ok run.

I dunno, if he is in the 12s and was spraying it would probably come down to the driver. I believe he could have easily taken him if the Cobra's driver didn't exactly know what he was doing. There are a lot of them that just have the money for them and think that the cars can drive themselves and beat everyone, but they can be fairly slow if the wrong person is behind the wheel.

i know that but with a 12 sec car and a 12 sec truck running the car would reel him in quickly especially from a roll our trucks arent what you call aerodynamic

It could have been an 03. Was it the old or new body style? From what Ive read they are notoriously hard to launch on street tires, but are killers when they have traction. If it was stock and on stock tires, I dont see why 02 couldnt have hung with him. A 175 is quite a bit of power from any RPM.
