Default Recall

This sounds important

DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors Corp. (NYSE:GM - news) is recalling more than 98,000 pickups, vans and sport utility vehicles because of a potential problem with their power steering and braking systems, federal safety regulators said on Tuesday

Here's the story.

Why is it that they only recall 00s when the 99s are the exact same. I almost killed my self when both my tailgate cables snapped with me on it and yet no recall even though they are the same cables. Now this my steering shaft sucks and i doubt ill ever see a thing out of gm as far as fixing it even though it was a design problem from the get go.
