I have a 07 classic CC truck and it has the base rear view mirror, no auto dim or temp or compass. all mine does is tell if the pass. air bag is on or off

my question is, if I got one and installed it would it work? as in is the truck already wired for it, but it just doesnt have the right mirror?

 

I knew it would be a hard question.

 

Do you have the ambient temp sensor in front of the condenser on the driver side on that support bracket thing? If yes then ill bet you are wired for the fancier mirror, if not then I doubt it.

 

Ill take a look tomorrow, whats it look like?

 

A light grey plastic box maybe 1" by 1" mounted on of the crossmembers with a wire coming out of it.

 

well I got the sensor there, I found a place with used mirrors for 45 bucks
we'll find out if it works
