Default rear power window problem...Lil help..

hey guys,
My dad bought a 2000 yukon and we brought it home and after a couple of days he started having a problem with his rear windows(both) not going down..I suggested the window motor be replaced but it just sounds funny that both motors would go out at the same time..Another thing is that there is a small clicking noise that comes from the door when the button is pressed from the driver door?? He has already replaced the switch on the driver door too also.. Have any of you ever had this problem? sorry i could have searched but im on dail-up at the moment..Appreciate the help!

Thanks in advance
Landon

The regulators are on each window motor. I would look into a switch relay or the switches personally. Like Gosh said someone who is a tech on here will let you know what exactly it is.

so if the windows wont go down from the driver control after he has put a new switch there.. do you think it could be a relay or regulator?

There was a bulliten for the rear windows on them. It's #00-08-64-018C. It's not uncommon to have them fail in pairs for no specific reason.
