okay not to get a war going cuase i dont race my truck really but i assume my 04 stripper model would go 14.75-14.99ish bone bone bone stock with about 3k on it.. just my opinion, thats not to great, but i bought it to haul and tow **** and drive in the rain.. btw i paid around 15k financed for it new to give u an idea of just how stripped down it is for a hemi ram. its got a bedliner and the chromed front end tho.

but i estimate with full exhuast it would pick up 3-4 tenths taht and 4.10 or 4.56's would really help.. then a 75-100 shot of gas and remove the 300lbs of bs weight and she'd run down stock ford lightnings anyways. theres actaully one in the 12.90's now with just these simple mods and 125 shot. me tho, im not modding another vehicle specially a dodge cuz it would prolly just start breaking lol.

Was it a red one and when several of you guys were out at Hallsville, if so it was me. My 04 stripper with 17's did a best of 14.86 at 91 on a perfect winter day with really good conditions, it averaged 14.9 to 15.10 around 90mph. I have added a flowmaster and gotten a 14.60 at 92 and a 14.64 at over 91mph on a decent day. It also weighted in with me right around 4800 pounds with less than half a tank. I have had some really close runs with 5.3 trucks, raced a stock one that had 3.73's and at most there was 2 tenths difference, regular cab to regular cab is a good close race the way it should be.

Stock the RCSB Dodge will hit the high 14's and low 15's. An 03' model with the TMR wire removed and a few other cheap mods ( ie IAT resistor ) will go into the mid/low 14's real easy. The 04+ guys cannot mod the TMR ( good for 0.3 seconds alone in the 1/4 ) due to a wiring and PCM change. We have also seen where getting over 5K miles seems to release a few extra ponies in the computer tuning, some track times have reflected this.
Still no where near the potential of the GenIII motors for power and tuning. I'm definitely ready to pound on the Daimler/Chrysler yahoo that encoded the PCM and hid the answer key from the world....

I live near where you are from so thats means most probably you are talking about hmp or hrp and in all the times I have been to the track I have NEVER seen a hemi run even mid 14's stock. My buddies rcsb hemi with exhaust(dual) programmer tb spacer and intake only ran a 14.3 at that was with it being 40ish degrees outside so basically the best weather. RC hemis=14.9-15.1 CC=15.2-15.5 It could possibly run that with parish8 pulling it or something.
blah blah blah yak yak yak

He never said anything about stock times, I ran 14.67 bone ****** stock and I have run a best of 13.82 with headers and a superchips program that gave me a whopping 20hp, I am the exception with most of the 5.7's running because I can hook up. I have run with alot of the LS1 guys.Ask them if I am bullshitting or not.

I run a 14.9 at a track alt of 2200, works out to a 14.49 at sea level. Thats with long tube headers and a magnaflow Cat back. Now I got a CAI and installed the Superchips programmer, I am looking to cut a low 14sec 1/4mile maybe even break into the high 13s, not bad for a 4900lb truck.

Just wait till we start putting in these new performance cams that just got released.
