I really think if GM was going to do it, they would have done it by now - like back in 2002. I think they would sell like hotcakes, personally, but all we can do is wish.

 

From every thing I have seen and read Im with Zippy. It not going to happen.

The VHO is only in a extended cab, and the VortecMax pack is only in extended and crew cabs although you can get a either in a 4X4.

only other options are SS (Extended cab AWD or 2wd for 06') and Denali (crew cab AWD).

I did alot of looking into what trucks were avaliable with the LQ9 before buying a Denali. Above is what I got out of GM.

 

just buy a reg cab truck for about 12k and put a 6.0 in it with a good cam and heads and youll be more than happy. heck i even got a truck that would be perfect for it
