I've heard of alot of the modules going bad causing the pump to constantly run, it happened to mine. New module is over $800! Check out modulemaster.com, I believe he rebuilds them dirt cheap!!

yeah, I know how you guys feel mine went bad 3 yrs ago. It went out about 1 week after my warranty expired I've been driving around with it unplugged ever since, because I didn't want to fork over the $800-$900 to replace it. I'm going to give the module master guys a shot and see what happens.

Yeah there is a couple of rebuilders out there that will send you the replacement for $150-175 but the truck guys can usually beat this by far

My problem is my pump isnt contantly running.

It keeps running, It sounds like a very loud fuel pump continuously running. It will continue to run even after you turn the truck off, that when you will generally hear it running.

Yep, and the ABS light will come on. If this does happen to you, be sure to pull the fuse or unplug the pump, if you don't the pump will run continuously and possibly burn out.

thanks guys. i was just checking b/c my abs and parkbrake comes on randomly. usually when i'm exiting an exit ramp, after the truck slows down, i give it some gas to get back up to speed and it's sort of like the converter slips and my abs and brake light comes on. weird. anyone has this kind of problem?
