I got caught up in a deal with this Jay guy a little over a year ago. Same kind of thing-was promised the heads then they never showed. I called and called and when I could get ahold of him it was "they should go out tomorrow" or "i haven't started on them yet" or "I'm almost done just waiting on some valves" --was always a different excuse. I decided to pay the guy a visit so I was in the process of getting airline tickets when I got struck down by an freak leg infection and ended up spending about a month in the hosp. Anyways, from my hospital bed I emailed him on a Thursday and told him that if I didn't have the heads (or at least a tracking number) or my money back by Monday that I was going to turn it over to my lawyer. This was not a threat as I had already contacted the lawyer and had him sitting on ready before I made that statement to Jay. Well, whaddya know the heads were on my doorstep on Monday !! Good luck to you-my advice is to try to just get a refund and then deal with someone else.

I have seen Jay be a bit slow on his delivery times since he seems to be a fairly good porter (thus he is in demand).

Its the syndrome of taking on too much work, and folks getting impatient. I have not seen situations where Jay has cheated anyone, etc...

As far as I know folks have always got their stuff. Sometimes it just takes awhile... I have sent Jay email, and like the rest, his voicemail is full. I'm sure Jay will be back with us as soon as he can.

I understand when you have dropped some coin you want your stuff back ASAP, and its frustrating. But hopefully with moving to a new shop Jay can cut that delivery time down.

If he's too busy, he shouldn't be cashing the checks or accepting the funds transfer or whatever. I've never been one to bitch a lot, but it seems to be a growing trend of companies wanting your money and not wanting to give you what you pay for. Not all are like this, but a lot are. (i'm assuming he's already taken 02denali's money by the way it sounds)
