This dude in this red Dodge scsb truck was tailgating me this morning, so I started watching him. He would run up on me, fall back some, and then do it again over and over. I'm thinking wth?? its a 4 lane road! He goes to pass me on the right. We are going about 40 mph at this point. He gets about even with my door and punches it and jumps me a truck length before I punch mine. I stayed with him until we hit about 85 and he starts pulling away a little and I back down. I get discouraged . As I pass him a little later on I see the Hemi emblem and his windows are down some. I begin to feel a little better as I consider what I give up in motor, weight and the fact I had my A/C on. He more than likely did not.

I am getting a 3.73 gear put in Wednesday and will change my shift points then as well. (Truck runs like a dog when it shifts into OD.) I'll be looking for him then.

 

Get some N20!!! There was one near me that messed with me every morning on my way to work. I always declined preferring to wait for the little surprise in my garage to be installed. It wasnt pretty, but it was pretty fun. . He was nice though. When he asked, I told him I had a hemi too. Once you start you wont want to stop. Ive got my heart set on some new GT's now. Come on expense check, daddy needs more boost!!!

 

Nice Run. I too have an Ext Cap 4.8 I am modding. There is nothing like beating them and later telling them you only have a 4.8 under your hood.

 

Mine is sort of like yours but stock exhaust,etc...3.42 peg. I haven't run anyone yet.

 

I think the old 340s would kick-butt on the 5.7 hemi. Now if it was a 426.....

 

Tell the Hemi owners, after you beat them, you're running the 4.3L V6.
