Default Race gas

If my truck is tuned for 91... Would it help any of I run race gas?

not really and it may even slow you down...but I will usually mix 5 gallons in my tank for insurance against knock.

agree with bill, most likely slow you down.

i run 2 gal/112 octane with 1/4 tank 93 so i can safely run a decent shot of nitrous with my timing at 27*... just for insurance.

race gas is more for a high compression (13.0:1+) motor running 28-30* timing that really needs it. a stockish motor tuned for 91 isnt going to see anything from it.

no reason to, stock motor usually wont make any more power past 28 degrees and that can be done on pump gas
