Got the email with the pic in it. Your truck looks damn good with that drop. What size tires are you running? I've got 265/70/16's right now that will take up all the gap in the fenderwells with a 3/4 drop. I didn't think the rake would be that noticeable but, it looks real nice.

One more question. Where did you get that hood? That is the second T/A ram air style hood I've seen and they are simply bad ***.

Thanks

John

I was one of the first to lower in my area. As a matter of fact, I only saw 1 lowered fullsize in my area for about the first 6 months after I got it. It only to me 3 weeks to drop mine. When I did it, there was not a lot of info out there. Belltech and DJM were high dollar. Spindles were not even available yet. Remember, I've been lowered for over 2 yaers. I took advice from someone that never had any problems with AIM. Now ask him that same question today, and he will say they suck to.

I have heard the same thing about Aim.I think thats where i got mine from and like i said i ordered 2"hangers and they sent me 1".So i am not saying order from Aim.As far as the size tires in that pic, they are 235/55/16,but now i have 275/45/20 on it.Really feeled the fender gap up.As far as the hood go to eastcoastcustoms.com and click on ram air hoods.i bought mine from superior customs out of a Truckin mag.

It is worth the $ for Belltech flip kit if you are going to put stress on the frame. It is much stiffer and way better designed than the DJM kit.

I have seen both in person, and while the Belltech is a little beefier the DJM in now way is weak. With the DJM C-notch your frame will be just as strong, if not stronger than it was stock. Why would you need stronger than stock. I can name 3 people off the top of my head that have the DJM C-notch and they have never had one problem. Have you actually ever seen anyone have a problem with one?

I haven't heard anyone having problems with the DJM c notch although I have heard that the Belltech c notch is designed a little better/stronger. The stronger the better, right?
