Question Questions about 4.8 5spd

Im looking to buy a used 4.8 5spd within the next year. All the ones i find on autotrader dont have power windows. Is it even possible for me to get one with power windows without it being a regency or joe gibbs(not opposed to these) just like to do my own personilzation. Thanks guys

2000 and up. I know it will be a little harder to find. After 2 vehicles with auto trannies and 3 replaced trannies i dont want anything but a manual...and the manuals are a lot more fun too

Keep looking, man. Just cause it has a manual doesn't mean it can't have the nice stuff too. They are quasi-rare and its very likely people don't want to get rid of them like any ole auto truck. I had to go to Missouri (from Texas) to get my 4.8/5-spd. Well, I was picky on the color too, so that didn't help matters haha.

Ditto, My truck is a 4.8L 5 speed truck with power windows and mirrors as well. I drove from Minneapolis, MN to Blanchard, OK for my truck. I had to have black too. It was 1 of 3 in the country when I was looking. The other one was in North carolina and the 3rd was in Hazzard, KY. Am I crazier for driving so far?

^^not crazy at all. You're better off spending the money once and being happy with your decision then having to sell or dumping an unreal amount of money into it.
I too have been looking for that same truck, they're out there.....just damn hard to find.

Im willing to fly/drive somewhere to get it. It sounds crazy but i had a camaro(manual) and loved it, bought the silverado (auto) and loved it....til the tranny went out twice, bought the accord(ahh, its ok, comfortable but no personality). I had always missed the camaro in the past but i miss my truck more than anything. Whenever i had tranny issues with the camaro Id spend 3to4 hundred something dollars on a clutch take it to a friend and replace it. The truck, 2100(4l60e) that died within 2months, 2500(4l60e) stock rebuild that drove funny, the accord rebuild after i put 17kmiles on it. Ill admit i dogged the heck out of the truck but i didnt do anything to the honda. I just want something that i know will last or that i can at least fix on my own or with the help of a friend and it wont put me in major debt. not to mention i bought a magnaflow exhaust and tips and some other stuff for my truck before i got rid of it and i still have it in a closet. granted i cant use all of it probably but.......anyways, im rambling, sorry yall
