Question on posi?

I have a brand new silverado with 373 gears but its a one leger how much will it cost to convert it to posi (locking rear diff),parts ,labor,and how hard is it ?also what brand for posi to buy ?any info u can give will greatly help me out THANKS !!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I have an Eaton posi unit. NO problems.The posi unit will run you about 450.00. I would say installation would be around 200.00,and bearings and oil would be about 80.00. It adds up quick. I did mine myself,but it's not my first one either. If you haven't installed one before I wouldn't recommend that you do it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
