Default Question for CC owners

You guys with 1/2 ton crew cabs, you have the extra shortbox, what is it? 5.5'
What are you guys doing about hauling your quad?Once I realized the CCvmax CC bed is to short to shut the tailgate with a quad, well It made me kind of loose the sizzle of buying a new truck.

Just leave the tailgate down. As long as its all tied in, nothings going to move. We leave the tailgate down on my buddies S10 all the time when we haul the bikes to the track with the gear and all. Use a couple bungie straps to tie down the lose stuff and your set. Most of it will just tuck itself in there.

I have a CC and i haul my CR125 in it. Its easy for me though, i just strap my front tire on the left of the bed and swing the *** end around to the right and i can close the tailgate.

Its 5'8". I just hook up my trailer or use my other truck. To be honest I havent tried to see if it ll fit back there. I kinda doubt it though, the Grizzly is a pretty big atv.

Yes a trailer also helps. lol. I have a little dirtbike hauler with the ride up gate and the rails for the tires and all that good stuff. If i was hauling a couple bikes, i would hook up the trailer with the bikes on it and just use the bed for the gear and gas cans and stuff like that.

gonzo....if I were in your shoes I'd but a two 4 wheeler hauler that side loads them over the bed without damaging them or your truck. I personally use a 16' dual axle trailer. If you like any measurements let me know.
