Seemed to work for me when I pulled mine. Picked up about .2/2mph. I have the entire front of the lower airbox section cut out as well as the rubberish flap behind the light. The radix loves every little bit of extra air it can get.

wouldnt do me any good with the sealed box i do have functional ram air though so its the same basic idea, but you dont look ****-eyed going down the track.
